Behind the answer
How it works
Dates are mapped to UTC calendar-day numbers, so daylight-saving clock changes do not affect the count. The default counts the gap between dates. Select both endpoints to add one day.
Days = end calendar date − start calendar date
A worked example
28 February 2024 to 1 March 2024 is a gap of 2 days because 2024 contains 29 February. Counting both dates gives 3 calendar days.
